Marano corn cupcakes

- Note: Be careful to not overfill the cups , otherwise the mixture will leak out!

Ingredients

  • 350g “Marano” corn flour (to be produced with Faribon 600 or Faribon 600 P)
  • 200g sugar
  • 200g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 200ml full-cream milk
  • 3 teaspoons of honey
  • Icing sugar q.s.

PREPARATION

  • Mill the “Marano” corn  with Faribon 600 or Faribon 600 P to obtain the needed flour;

  • Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar;

  • Pour the whole eggs in a bowl and beat them using a fork, then add to them  to the butter and sugar, mixing all;

  • Gently start adding the corn flour  keeping mixing in order to not create lumps;

  • Add the baking powder, the milk and after mixing it , the honey;

  • Pour the dough in the cups and fill them about 2/3 full, in order to not leak out during baking;

  •  Bake the cupcakes in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes;

  • Once the cupcakes are removed from the oven, leave them to cool and dust them with  icing sugar.
